In 2016, I was asked by Dr. John Stanton, to join the teaching faculty at Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia. As Chair of the Food Marketing Department and a colleague from our days at Campbell's Soup, Dr. Stanton and I have known each other since the 80's. He asked me to teach the Food Marketing Research classes under his guidance and so my teaching experience began!
In 2023, I was recommended by a colleague for a role at Rutgers Camden - School of Business, for a teaching assignment in Marketing. Excited to say that in September 2023, I began teaching Essentials of Marketing in the LEAP program within the Business School. And, in mid-September, I was asked to add International Marketing to my schedule. This class is also part of the Rutgers Camden - School of Business program.
So, in the Spring of 2025, I'm teaching Principles of Marketing and Marketing Research to students at Rutgers Camden! Again, I'll be counting on Mr. James Carlson of Circana for his expertise in the area of syndicated research and the emerging role it's playing in consumer marketing today!
ONE PERSONAL NOTE: In late 2022, I was asked to contribute to a textbook, "Food Marketing Research: A Student Text" Vol. 2 with a personal chapter on Syndicated Research.Â

I'm so grateful for the opportunity to share my experience across the Marketing Spectrum with the next generation of students! Looks like it will be another busy semester!/jp
